Meal Delivery: Each day our transportation teams will pick up meals from Nutrition Services between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. and then distribute meals through our middle school bus routes and stops.
Parents and/or students may pick up meals from the bus stops. Meals are available for all children 18 and under in our community. Students need not be bus riders or an LSR7 student to receive meals. Parents may pick up for other families and one student may pick up meals for their siblings.
To help you find the bus stop closest to your home, an online search tool accessible from our home page has been created for your convenience. Type in your address and find the closest bus stop by clicking here. We anticipate that our meals will be delivered between 11 a.m. and noon. Our search tool will provide time estimations associated with each designated stop.
Meals may also be picked up curbside at Lee’s Summit High School, Lee’s Summit West High School and Lee’s Summit North High School from noon to 1 p.m. daily. We will no longer be offering the 5 to 6 p.m. pick-up at Lee’s Summit High School.
Thanksgiving: During Thanksgiving week, we will have both the curbside and bus delivery options described above on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday’s pack will contain meals for Tuesday through Friday.
December: From Dec. 4 through Dec. 21, we will provide daily lunch via curbside and bus delivery. On Dec. 22, we will pack meals for Dec. 22-25 through curbside and bus delivery. There will be no meal service Dec. 30 – Jan 1. We will resume on Jan. 4 with the same schedule.
Thank you to our Nutrition Services and Transportation teams for working diligently to organize plans to provide meals to our school community during our time of virtual learning. We wish you a happy, healthy and safe Thanksgiving holiday.

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) requires certain notifications to parents/guardians when school districts receive federal funds. School districts must annually disseminate Federal Programs Complaint Resolution Procedures to parents/guardians of students and appropriate private school officials or representatives. The Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA) Complaint Procedures can be found at this link.
