Programs
Elementary Summer School
Engage in summer programming for elementary students. The R-7 Elementary Summer Learning Institute will offer enrichment courses in June.
Kindergarten Kickoff
To help families prepare for kindergarten and allow the district to plan for the coming school year, elementary schools host annual spring Kindergarten Kickoff sessions for incoming kindergarteners.
Before & After School Services
Through a partnership with the YMCA, our Y Club program provides support to families by caring for their children during out of school time in a safe, nurturing, fun and educational environment.

R-7 Elementary
Our school district currently has 19 elementary schools, including our elementary R-7 Online Academy. Our elementary programs include 7,509 students in grades kindergarten through five. Kindergarten students attend full-day sessions and must reach the age of 5 before August 1 in order to enroll.
