Nine Meadow Lane students earn Pathway to Biliteracy Award

The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District recognized eight BCMS students with their Pathway to Biliteracy Awards.
Pathway Awards recognize elementary and middle school students who have sought out second language acquisition opportunities in their communities or who have worked to maintain the native language spoken in the home.
The following students earned their Pathway Award at the end of the year:

- French: Jymeer Walker* (5th grade)
- Russian: Agvan Tsydypov (1st grade)
- Spanish: Lucas Wohlschlaeger (1st grade), Jaliya Walker (1st grade), Aden Boell (5th grade), Janaya Walker **(3rd grade), Santiago Wohlschlaeger* (3rd grade), Kyleigh Frank (3rd grade), Natalia Flores (3rd grade)
